Coyote freed after trapped between QEW barriers. See photos

Tuesday, December 6, 2016, 3:46 PM - A coyote was rescued in St. Catharines, Ont., Monday after being trapped between two barriers on the Queen Elizabeth Way.
The animal jumped on the highway barrier at Geneva Street and then walked on the lower barrier along McCalla Drive, according to the Lincoln County Humane Society (LCHS). The coyote then became wedged between the two walls.

After about 45 minutes and some help from members of the Ontario Provincial Police, The Miller Group and LCHS, the animal was freed.
"After a bit of TLC at the LCHS we released her back in the wild, none the worse," the humane society posted on Facebook. "She was healthy, unhappy with us and the perfect coyote! Thanks to all 8 rescuers!"
