Snow squalls continue to impact parts of Ontario, while forecasters track the potential for another storm next week.

Winter weather has been relentless across much of Atlantic Canada and the bitter cold temperatures have plunged dangerously low in the Prairies as well.

It's safe to say it's been a challenging winter across much of the country prompting a popular question among several Canadians.

Are you embracing winter or have you had enough?

On Tuesday we posted the question on theweathernetwork.com and with close to 40,000 votes, the answer was crystal clear.

SICK OF IT!

Despite the overwhelming response with 75 percent agreeing they've had enough, there are still several hearty Canadians who are taking the frosty and snow filled season in stride.

Will the winter conditions let up or will much of the country continue to face severe weather until March 20, the official start of spring?

Perhaps that's a question for our furry friends.

This Sunday marks Groundhog Day.

According to folklore, if the groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and doesn't see its shadow then spring will come early. If it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.

The Weather Network's Chris Murphy will be in Wiarton, Ontario this weekend with the verdict from Wiarton Willie. He's also got his own spin on the February 2 holiday so be sure to tune into The Weather Network on TV to see what he's got up his sleeve.
