HOW? Osprey clutches a shark which is carrying a fish

Thursday, April 26, 2018, 6:26 PM - Florida photographer Doc Jon has captured a once-in-a-lifetime photo set of an osprey clutching a shark which is holding a fish in its mouth.
The amazing shot was taken at Madeira Beach, southwest of Tampa, earlier this month.

The bird was flying at a height of 120 metres, so Jon didn't even realize he'd snapped such a rare image until he got home and zoomed in.
In a Facebook post Jon described the photos as the best he's ever taken.
"I saw an osprey with a fish," he says.
"When I looked on my computer I saw the fish's tail was that of a shark. Then zooming and cleaning up the photo noticed THE SHARK IS EATING A FISH!"
The photos have gone viral online, racking up thousands of shares and likes.
