Tundra Swans Heading South from the Port Perry Lagoons.

1534 views Port Skipper October 21, 2016 unknown Date shot:

As part of my visit to the Port Perry Lagoons on Oct 19/16 I was lucky enough to see a family of Tundra swans in migration. I took a number of pictures of them before they departed on their ongoing journey. This is the last shot I got as they left the lagoons and headed for lake Scugog. The Cygnet of the family was not working too hard to keep up with the parents. It should make the trip south OK. By the look of the Maple tree beneath them they should have a beautiful flight.
