This is a Juvenile Eastern Red Tail Hawk. It landed on the Lamp Pole on the corner of my Port Perry front lawn, seemingly without a reason. There were no birds on the feeders.It sat there long enough to allow me to grab a camera and get outside to get a shot in the overcast. This is the third type of hawk to visit my yard. The other two were Coopers and Sharp shinned. This makes 74 bird types on my yard list. You just never know.
