Thursday, May 12, 2016, 4:35 PM - Every April, Japan's Hitachi Seaside Park explodes with millions of baby blue eyes flowers and this year, photographer Hidenobu Suzuki was there to capture the phenomenon with his camera.

Located in a public park a few hours from Tokyo, 4.5 million flowers blanket the ground. The area is a huge tourist draw every year, and a popular pick for wedding and engagement photos.

"Japan is known for its beautiful colourful spring," Suzuki told the website Bored Panda.

"It’s so good to be alive around these beautiful views."
