It's only just beginning for Alberta.

The province was the first to get an early snow storm last week, and it looks like it's possible they could see some more snow next weekend.

The culprit is a system that will stop by BC before reaching the Prairies. Unlike last week's storm that came from the Northwest Territories, this one will come in from the west.

"An incoming low pressure system moving into BC on Saturday will spread valley rain and mountain snow throughout the day," said Weather Network meteorologist Brian Dillon. "This system will cross the Rockies on Sunday and affect Alberta on Sunday and into Monday."

As for how bad the storm will be, it might be too early to tell.

"Since its a few days away, precipitation amounts and type are uncertain at the moment. Stay tuned to The Weather Network for more," Dillon added.
