When most people think of May, they think of mild weather, but that hasn't been the case in parts of Illinois.

Take Rockford, for example, which is dealing with record-breaking snow.

The National Weather Service forecasts is calling for patchy frost to continue through the area through Friday night, with a low hovering around the freezing mark.
