An aviation enthusiast, who goes by the name Schipholhotspot on YouTube, posted a 30-second video showing an Airbus A380 slicing through a wall of clouds and leaving a mesmerizing display in its wake.
"One minute after passing [through] the clouds you still see the turbulence created by the passing plane," he wrote on his YouTube page. "I shot this clip on the 31st of December 2014 -- it was great to [capture] this plane on its return trip [to] Dubai, and a great way to end the spotting year of 2014."
The man recorded the Dubai-bound Emirates aircraft as it soared into the clouds at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The video has garnered more than 440,000 views on YouTube and has proven to be quite the hit with aviation enthusiasts online.
