Just ask B.C. resident Jesse Seads, who used 640 pumpkins to surprise his girlfriend Justine, who he took for a recent spin in an airplane.

"As we were getting up in to the plane and they were pointing where to look and they pointed to the pumpkin patch," Justine said.

"I started to read 'Justine will you marry me?' I had to double take a few times because I didn't think I was actually seeing what I was seeing."

Jesse says it made perfect sense since he met his now finance at a Halloween party seven years ago.

Pulling off the feat was a full family effort.

"My dad Doug my mom Julie, our neighbour Jim and our friend Andres we went out two days before to set it all up," Jesse says.

"Then they went back the day of to make sure everything was clear and ready to go."

After the pumpkin proposal, the surprises didn’t stop. Once they landed the plane, Justine's best friends Jamie and Cameron were waiting to whisk the newly engaged couple away for the weekend.
