Sunday, June 19, 2016, 10:51 AM - Southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba were wracked by powerful storms late Saturday.

Wind gusts in excess of 100 km/h were recorded, as well as large scale, and at the storms' height, a tornado warning was briefly in effect for the Swift Current, Sask., area.

No tornadoes have been confirmed, though the storms lingered into the early morning hours as they crossed into northwestern Ontario.

Here's how Saturday's storms looked on Twitter.
