In photos: Ontario storms spark tornado warnings
Digital Reporter
Monday, June 19, 2017, 7:40 AM - The Father's Day weekend got off to a stormy start on Saturday, with a repeat performance Sunday.
Storms on Saturday sparked tornado warnings that briefly covering most of the Greater Toronto Area, while Sunday's storms saw the tornado risk shift to eastern Ontario, where watches were in place for most of the day, a handful being briefly upgraded to full-fledged warnings.
The storms featured hail and torrential downpours briefly triggering localized flooding, along with some very scary-looking skies.
Below is a selection of how the storms looked on Twitter.
