Dozens of roads remain closed throughout New Brunswick due to all the excess rain and flooding the province has seen so far this Spring with the excessive snow melt brought on by the warmer temperatures.
Now the damage to the roads couldn’t be more evident than what you see in the video above, where a giant sinkhole took out a section of Route 114, near Hillsborough, in southeastern New Brunswick.
Construction crews are on scene filling the hole back up, as this is a major road that goes between Riverview and Fundy National Park.

Crews say they are hoping to have the hole filled with one lane open to traffic by Saturday.
Meanwhile, residents across the province remain on high alert as heavy rainfall is forecast over the next couple days.
