Heavy rain and hail were reported across the Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday, flooding out streets and leaving many drivers stranded.
Cars were submerged at the Southland and Heritage C-Train stations and the heavy rain disrupted C-Train service between Chinook and Anderson station.
Social media erupted with photos of the flood scene, including drivers being rescued by city firefighters.
"The stationary boundary is back again Wednesday with another risk for flash flooding in parts of Alberta on Wednesday," says Weather Network meteorologist Tyler Hamilton. "The risk for more isolated severe storms stretches across both northern and southern regions and these storms are capable of producing locally torrential rain."
