Tuesday, October 17, 2017, 4:00 PM - A family is thankful to be reunited after a wildfire raged through their community in Sonoma County, California last week.
When the owners of Odin, a Great Pyrenees, evacuated, the dog refused to leave the family's eight rescue goats. Roland Hendel and his family were forced to leave the beloved dog behind and thought they would be seeing him for the last time.
"He was determined to stay with the goats and I had to let him do it," he told ABC News.
Incredibly, all nine animals survived with only minor injuries.
Photos and videos of a tired but excited Odin have gone viral on Facebook, racking up tens of thousands of shares, likes and comments.
