Crop circles found in Mexico

Thursday, January 8, 2015, 4:39 PM - Crop circles have been discovered over a 7-hectare expanse of land in the Mexican countryside one day after residents reported bright lights in the night sky, the Huffington Post reports.
Government officials are investigating and a huge crowd has turned up to observe the circles.
Witnesses say the formation appeared 25 km outside of Mexico City on Christmas Eve in a barley field.

Unlike other crop circles -- which are noted for their symmetrical shape and complex designs -- this formation appears to be simple and irregular.
Guards have been keeping an eye on the area in an effort to prevent vandalism.
There has been rampant speculation about the origin of the crop circles.
While some believe they're the product of another world, others think they were the handiwork of (Earth-bound) pranksters.
