Ozzy Pawsbourne: Vest protects dogs, heavy metal style

Thursday, January 3, 2019, 1:03 PM - A new line of dog vests says it will make your pet appear bigger and offer protection against a coyote attack.

They're made out of bite-proof Kevlar and vulnerable areas, like the neck, are embedded with spikes.

Dog owner Kae Warnock says the vests double as Halloween costumes.

"They're goofy little outfits. I don't know if they work. They just make me feel better," she told CNN. 

The vests retail for around $99 US, with the colourful whiskers costing extra.

Personally, we love the look of this heavy metal-approved attire.
