Tuesday, August 12, 2014, 7:20 PM - A bridge in Greer, South Carolina collapsed on Saturday, leaving two cars trapped. The motorists involved in the incident are lucky to be alive.
Four people had to be rescued after heavy storms caused the bridge to cave in. Two were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
"You couldn't see nothing. It was dark. The road was just not there no more," recalls survivor Larry Cooper, who walked away from the ordeal with only a few cuts and bruises.

He says that the other car had three people inside, and one had to be rescued downstream.
According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the pipe that pushed water under the road burst open because of heavy flow.
Officials say repairs could take months.
