Artist Zaria Forman creates realistic paintings to raise attention about climate change

Wednesday, December 17, 2014, 4:46 PM - Artist Zaria Forman uses finger painting to create stunningly realistic pieces to draw attention to climate change.

It's hard to believe these incredible iceberg images are paintings -- but they are.

In real life, her pieces are huge -- sometimes as big as an entire wall.

And what makes her work even more remarkable is the fact that they're done without the use of a brush.

Forman's work focuses on nature in an effort to draw attention to our changing world.

“I choose to convey the beauty, as opposed to the devastation, of threatened places," she told BoredPanda.com.

"If people can experience the sublimity of these landscapes, perhaps they will be inspired to protect and preserve them.”
