Photographer Navid Baraty has created gorgeous and realistic space scenes by placing ordinary household objects on a computer scanner.
A little bit of editing makes the pieces look like far-off galaxies.
Baraty's work is steadily gaining a following online, and has been picked up by several media outlets.
He calls the project the WANDER space probe, saying the images represent "cosmic explorations of an imaginary space probe."
