Paris, one of the most visited cities in the entire world, is classified as having an oceanic climate which boasts mild temperatures and regular precipitation.

In the summer, air temperatures are comfortable, usually ranging from 16°C to 24°C. Occasionally, a hot spell will come in and push daily highs into the low 30s (sometimes for days at a time) before returning to seasonal norms. Monthly rainfall is at its peak during the summer months, and is often characterized by abrupt, heavy showers.
