What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Central Humboldt County in northwestern California Until 1030 AM PST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 532 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.4 and 0.9 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.8 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Eureka, Arcata, Willow Creek, Orick, Maple Creek, McKinleyville, Westhaven-Moonstone, Carlotta, Blue Lake, Kneeland, Fieldbrook, Freshwater, Arcata Arpt, Myrtletown, Pine Hills and Hydesville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
