This week is shaping up to be quite a sun-filled week for Toronto, Ont., which has been through a lot of cold, rainy weather this spring.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday have seen sunshine grace the skies over Toronto, at least partially anyway.

As of now, we are in the midst of Toronto's sunniest stretch of weather since the fall of 2025.

Forecast calls for mostly sunny skies

  • Thursday: Mostly sunny

  • Friday: Sunny start, with a chance for showers. How fast can they clear out?

  • Saturday: Mostly sunny

  • Sunday: Mostly sunny

If Friday’s rain chances are lowered, this could be the longest, mostly-sunny stretch of weather since the period from Sept. 28, 2025 to Oct. 6., 2025.

Next week will also feature more sunshine. In fact, expect a stretch of pleasant, early-summer weather with abundant sunshine and temperatures trending from near seasonal to a few degrees above seasonal. There will be little chance for rain until the end of next week.
