Yellow Warning - Blizzard
Blizzard conditions expected late tonight and Saturday morning.
Snow will accumulate tonight and quickly be followed by strong northwest winds gusting up to 70 km/h. The combination of dry, fluffy snow with these strong winds will result in widespread blowing snow with near-zero visibility.
Falling temperatures and strong winds will also result in wind chill values approaching minus 40 for much of the day.
Visibility will gradually improve on Saturday afternoon.
###
Travel will be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Road closures are possible.
