What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Capitol Reef National Park and Vicinity, Glen Canyon Recreation Area/Lake Powell, South Central Utah, Western Canyonlands, Lower Washington County and Zion National Park.
When: From 6 AM MDT this morning through Tuesday evening.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars.
Additional Details: - Deep tropical moisture will combine with an upper level low crossing the Desert Southwest to bring an increased threat of flash flooding through Tuesday evening. Widespread rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts up to 3 inches will occur. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
