Description

What: Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
Where: Northeast Siskiyou and Northwest Modoc Counties, including Tulelake, Dorris, and Macdoel.
When: From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM PST Wednesday.
Impacts: High winds may move loose debris, bring down trees, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Large inflatable holiday decorations will be blown about.
Additional Details: Wind hazards are possible again Wednesday night into Christmas Day.

Recommended Action

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive. Take time now to prepare for potential power outages.
