Viento State Park, WA

This Oregon State Park has access to the Columbia River without the crowds you’ll find in nearby Hood River. Windsurfers launch here while hikers rinse off in the Columbia’s cool water. The park offers great camping and hiking that rarely fills to capacity making this river access one of the secrets of the Columbia River Gorge. Volunteers at Columbia Riverkeeper monitor this site throughout the summer months.
