On may latest trip to the PortPerry Lagoons I got this shot of 24 swans in the largest of the ponds. By the time I had visited the other ponds I had added another 28 Trumpeters for a total of 52. This species had been eliminated in Ontario in the 1800's . Having been reintroduced only a few decades ago there is no doubt that they are making a very successful comeback.
