The Farmer's Work Is Never Complete

19156 views Earl Hartlen January 31, 2021 Lynedoch, ON Date shot: January 29, 2021

The shadows are becoming much shorter, the daylight hours increasing as we're fast approaching spring in the northern hemisphere. As of now, only 48 days, yet many believe it's an off time for farmers. On the contrary, if they're not completing the staggering amount of paperwork or upgrading their knowledge, more often than not, you'll see them enduring the brutal cold while tending their livestock or working on their machinery. And all the time, their mind is buzzing, planning for the upcoming season and year. What hurtles will 2021 bring, if 2020 wasn't bad enough. Wishing all the farmers, livestock, fruit, vegetable, dairy, you name it, all the best and thank you for everything you do for us! Especially during this pandemic. Proud of all farmers world wide and you’re all my heroes !!! (Lynedoch, Norfolk County, Ontario Canada)
