There are so many beautiful places throughout Norfolk County, and we are so fortunate to have so many diverse and totally unique settings. The east coast of Canada may be renown for it's colourful communities, but Norfolk County is too. These colourful cottages, set on an embankment overlooking Lake Erie are an example, meticulously cared of by their owners. They may not own the land, only leasing it, but you can see anytime of the year, they take great pride in keeping them clean, beautiful and colourful. The unique thing about this time of year, is that you are able to see all of them, the barren trees allowing this unobstructed view. By the way, there are other very colourful locations throughout all of Norfolk County, Ontario. As for this one, you wouldn't be out of place if you thought this settings was in the Maritimes.
