My absolutely favourite way is the cabbage roll, hint hint ..lol. Veiled in the numerous layers of leaves, cabbages have innumerable health & nutritional benefits. A very common vegetable which everyone can afford, cabbages are high in fiber content. It helps your digestion system. Fresh cabbages are very effective for ulcers. They also possess anti-inflammatory properties because cabbages contain a large portion of glutamine. The nutritional benefits of cabbage are also very good for losing weight as cooked cabbages are low in calories, only 33 calories per cup. The storage of different phytochemicals including thiocyanates, indole-3-carbinol, lutein, zea xanthin, sulforaphane and isothiocyanates, which are powerful antioxidants that can fight many cancer diseases, which include breast, colon and prostate cancer types.
