A prolonged period of very cold wind chills is expected.

What:
Wind chill values as low as minus 45.

When:
Tonight and Monday morning.

Where:
South Klondike Highway and Haines Road.

Additional information:
Gusty outflow winds combined with temperatures in the minus 30s will produce wind chill values as low as minus 45 tonight.

Wind chill values will return to the minus 45 range tonight as overnight lows return to minus 30C.

Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
