Texas couple amps up the drama in storm-fueled wedding photo
The clouds -- and the couple -- have become a social media hit.
A Texas couple’s wedding photos are creating a torrent of social media activity because they feature an uninvited-yet-photogenic guest: A large cloud formation that formed in the skies over Amarillo earlier this month.
Photos shared to Facebook by photographer Brittani Preece on April 28 shows the newlyweds, Morgan LeeAnn Monteiro and Manuel Monteiro, posing under the cloud at Cornerstone Ranch Events Center in Amarillo, Texas.

“There is a saying ‘If it rains on your wedding, it’s good luck.’ So what’s the saying for when a huge Super Cell starts forming?” Preece wrote on Facebook. She says she darkened the tone of the images before they were published, but a video posted to her Facebook page show the skies were definitely grey that day.
