Locations: the Atlantic Coast from Halifax County - East of Porters Lake through to Sydney Metro and Cape Breton County.

Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm, possibly higher near the coast.

Time span: persisting until later tonight or Tuesday morning.

Remarks: Light snow will intensify this afternoon. Strong north to northeasterly winds could cause reduced visibilities in blowing snow.
