Description

Dangerous snow squalls and blizzard conditions expected.

What:
Blizzard conditions.
Total local snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm.

When:
Continuing into Tuesday afternoon.

Additional information:
In the wake of a sharp cold front, lake effect snow squalls off Lake Huron have developed. Widespread blowing snow and blizzard conditions will be the primary concern as northwesterly wind gusts of 70 km/h are expected tonight.

Travel will likely be extremely hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
