Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Portions of northern Indiana, including the following counties, Lagrange and Steuben, southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Branch and Hillsdale, and northwest Ohio, including the following county, Williams.
When: Until 945 PM EDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
Additional Details: - At 750 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Angola, Fremont, Pioneer, Holiday City, Columbia, Ray, Ransom, Waldron, Camden, Orland, Montgomery, Clear Lake, York, Nettle Lake, Berlien, Lake Seneca, Bridgewater Center, Frontier, Crooked Lake and Lake James. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
