Special Weather Statement
Issued at Sat 2:13 PM Jan. 10
Issued by: National Weather Service
Description
Areas of light to moderate snow, with embedded heavier snow showers will continue to move eastward across the area through the evening. The heavier snow showers and possible squalls may produce gusty winds up to 35 MPH with passing bouts of sharply reduced visibility down to a half mile, especially south of Highway 30. Any snow accumulations will be localized and generally an inch or less. But there may be still some slushy localized accumulations in spots. The combination of reduced visibility and potential patches of slush on roads may result in difficult travel conditions this evening for some.
