Description

What: Heat index values 99 to 103 expected. Overnight low temperatures in the low to mid 70s.
Where: Portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.
When: From 2 PM EDT /1 PM CDT/ this afternoon to 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Wednesday.
Impacts: Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Additional Details: Heat indices may approach 100 degrees again on Thursday afternoon.

Recommended Action

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
