Special Weather Statement
Issued at Thu 12:10 PM Apr. 9
Issued by: National Weather Service
Description
Fine fuels remain very dry thanks to the lack of rainfall and low relative humidity the last few days. Although winds will be lighter today, relative humidity will once again fall near to below 25 percent this afternoon and evening. Given the dry vegetation, outdoor fires will be able to spread quickly once started, increasing the potential for wildfires. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether you can burn today. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
