Description

Significant snow expected today.

What:
Snowfall amounts of up to 10 cm.

When:
This afternoon into tonight.

Additional information:
Snow is expected to continue through the afternoon before ending from west to east through this evening. There is still some uncertainty regarding the track of the low pressure system, which may impact the eastern edge of the significant snowfall area. Snow may be heavy at times for some regions during the afternoon hours. Additionally gusty southeast winds up to 50 km/h may cause reduced visibility due to local blowing snow this afternoon.

Travel may be difficult due to the accumulating snow. Motorists should exercise caution and adjust travel plans accordingly.
