Yellow Warning - Winter Storm
A winter storm with heavy snowfall and blowing snow will continue.
Locations: Grand Falls-Windsor and vicinity, and Green Bay - White Bay.
Additional snowfall: 10 to 25 cm, highest over the Baie Verte Peninsula.
Maximum wind gusts tonight: north to northwesterly 70 to 100 km/h, strongest along the coast.
Time span: ending early Friday morning.
Remarks: Strong winds accompanying the snow will reduce visibility at times in blowing snow. Snow and blowing snow is expected to ease by midnight tonight for inland areas and by early Friday morning for coastal areas.
