Description

Areas of fog will linger over parts of south-central and southwest Wisconsin through sunrise. While widespread dense fog is not expected at this time, visibilities could briefly drop to and below a half mile in spots. Slow down, use low beam headlights, and allow for extra following distance if encountering fog on the roads early this morning.

What: Heat index values up to 102 expected.
Where: Portions of south central and southeast Wisconsin.
When: From 10 AM this morning to 9 PM CDT this evening.
Impacts: Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Recommended Action

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
