Description
The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Flash Flood Warning for San Juan County in southeastern Utah Until 300 PM MDT. At 1234 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Hazard: Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

Impact: Life threatening flash flooding of normally dry washes, slot canyons, creeks and streams. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include drainages south of Lake Powell include Labyrinth Canyon.
Recommended Action
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
