Description

What: Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 98 to 108.
Where: Portions of central, south central, and southeast Montana and north central Wyoming.
When: Until midnight MDT tonight.
Impacts: Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
Additional Details: Low temperatures in the 60s and 70s tonight followed by high temperatures in the 90s Sunday may cause lingering heat stress, especially for those without relief from the heat. Much cooler temperatures arrive by Monday.

Recommended Action

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
