Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: Northwestern Gooding County in south central Idaho Northwestern Twin Falls County in south central Idaho Southeastern Elmore County in southwestern Idaho East Central Owyhee County in southwestern Idaho
When: Until 245 PM MDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways.
Additional Details: - At 1225 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Glenns Ferry, Deadman Flat, King Hill, Twentymile Butte, Blair Trail Reservoir and White Arrow Hot Spring. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
