Description
What: Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 18 inches. Highest amounts on east facing slopes.
Where: Rocky Mountain National Park and the Medicine Bow Range.
When: Until 9 PM MDT Monday.
Impacts: Travel could be very difficult and affect the Monday morning and evening commutes.
Recommended Action
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for Colorado can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or by going to www.cotrip.org. If traveling to the mountains, be prepared for winter driving conditions. Check cotrip.org for road closures and traction laws.
