Description

What: Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph, with gusts from 45 to 55 mph. Strongest winds in exposed areas and just northeast of higher terrain features. Winds will decrease each night, but many locations will still experience gusts over 40 mph.
Where: Navajo Nation in Arizona, Little Colorado River Valley, Mogollon Rim, Kaibab Plateau, Marble and Glen Canyons, Grand Canyon Country, Coconino Plateau, and Yavapai County Mountains.
When: Until 8 PM MST /9 PM MDT/ Sunday.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Tree limbs could snap and may result in power outages.

Recommended Action

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, such as RVs, campers, and tractor trailers. Use extra caution. Secure loose outdoor objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.
