Description

What: Flooding and flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall are possible.
Where: A portion of south central Wisconsin, including the following counties, Columbia, Dane, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock and Sauk.
When: From late Friday night into Saturday afternoon.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding and flash flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Additional Details: - Widespread and prolonged showers & storms will bring rain accumulations of 1-3 inches. Higher totals in the 3-5+ inch range will be possible in areas where storms track repeatedly. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood & Flash Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
