Where: Burnett, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the St. Croix Band in Burnett County and the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation.
When: For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 1 AM Thursday to 1 AM CDT Friday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.
Impacts: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
Additional Details: The majority of the snowfall is expected to fall during the daytime hours. With the high sun angle and temperatures hovering just above freezing, snowfall will have a difficult time accumulating on warm surfaces leading to a slushy mess.
