Description

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southwestern Moffat County in northwestern Colorado Northwestern Rio Blanco County in northwestern Colorado East central Uintah County in northeastern Utah Until 515 PM MDT. At 441 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of Dinosaur, or 25 miles southeast of Vernal, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Hazard: Quarter size hail.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Damage to vehicles is expected. Locations impacted include Dinosaur, Artesia, and Blue Mountain.

Recommended Action

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
